  • Valda's work is greatly informed by her background in painting. Influences come as much from artists as photographers. As her intention is less about portraying a literal representation, she uses various techniques to blur detail + abstract shapes to convey feelings evoked by the landscape.

"I am primarily driven by an exploration of colour + form. My objective is to bring an emotional element + aesthetic balance to my work."
