Nooshin Shafiee is a trained photographer with a passion for street photography in its truest form. She knows her beloved city of Tehran intimately and understands how the light falls at any hour. 

By walking through the city, she uncovers hidden secrets, subtle changes, and fleeting moments of life. Her work has evolved to present a more concrete and tangible perspective of the city, where neither the spaces are overly dramatic nor the objects highly symbolic. The works of Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, and William Eggleston have taken on new meaning in her lens.

In her own words, she asks: "How can we remain faithful to the banality of everyday life while also capturing the intensity of urban life within it?"
