Beschreibung

This series was taken in Yazd, a city in central Iran located in the desert.

Yazd is one of the oldest cities in Iran and is renowned for its Persian carpets. My aim was to showcase the traditional lifestyle of the local people.

I used the carpet as a symbol of the ancient and traditional life of Iranians. They are uncertain about whether to keep the carpet or let it go.
